SAT AM:Workshop One: Creating Character: Writers will develop character profiles using a wide range of photographic prompts and build a biography for them in this interactive workshop.
SAT PM:Workshop Two: Landscape and Memory: Writers will mine their own memories in a safe and supportive setting, using drawing and doodling techniques to map a place and then use sensory writing techniques to begin a short piece of writing.
SUN AM:Workshop Three: Story Structure: In this playful workshop, writers will discover how much they already know about structure and begin planning a story.
SUN PM:Workshop Four: Folktale and Myth Revisited: Writers will share their knowledge of favourite myths and folktales from around the world, and then mash them up in new genres and imaginings to create vivid new stories.
